With the trade deadline a week away, The Suns are seeking a first-round draft pick in exchange for star guard Goran Dragic, reports the Racine Journal Times.
Dragic, 28, has two separate stints with the Suns, sandwiched between an 88-game spell with the Rockets. He posted career-best numbers in points per game (20.3) and field goal percentage (50.5) last season. This season, he is averaging 16.2 points, 4.1 assists and 3.6 rebounds through his first 52 games.

If you could get him to sign an extension, I would trade a 1st for him in a heartbeat. Love me some Dragic.

That's the problem. He's probably not going to sign in the middle of the season that he just gets dealt to.

Yep, exactly why no one is going to trade a 1st for him.

I wouldn't say that. Some team may be willing to gamble if they think he's the missing piece

True, good point. Suppose a contender would definitely be willing to. But would the Suns take a later 1st for him?
Can't really see a middle of the pack team doing it though.

Though I guess at this point, the Suns would probably take any first for him rather than losing him via FAcy.
