From:realgm
Detroit News - Lions rookie defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh says that the name won't lose against at home this season.

Detroit lost their home opener to Philadelphia in Week 2.

"It was definitely a good atmosphere (at Ford Field)," Suh blogged on the Lions website. "I hope they (the fans) keep it that way throughout the year and don't take this loss too hard, because I don't foresee any more losses at home."

Uhhhhhh.

This is old news he said it a while ago lol.

Glad to see his confidence though. Probably won't come true, but still.

Lets see if he can back it up...which i'd be incredibly surprised if he does, cause there are 10 other guys on the defense who need to step up to.

He's right so far. 2-0 at home since. Although, it could end next week. Playing the Jets. Although, the Packers managed to beat the Jets 9-0, and their defense has some injuries. So, who knows. It's not impossible, but the Jets will be pissed, and if they do manage to beat the Jets. I'm going to start believing Suh is psychic. Haha.

If Matthew Stafford comes out of the game alive, against the Jets, that will be a win for the Lions.

If we beat the Jets, I will adopt Suh as my personal god. (Sorry VY)

This reminds me of Superstar Mode in Madden games where you can make a risky comment and whether or not you live up to it people still view you a bit more negatively.

Hmmmm

sorry just noticed that kinda connection - it doesn't really mean anything hahaha.

Lmao. Post of the week.

And if we beat the Jets, I don't even know what I'd do.
Probably start by getting a lot of lotion and some tissue :p

Haha only some tissues? That doesn't sound like full on commitment.

No, it wont
Is all it takes is one hard shot on his shoulder and he's probably done. The Jets are a mean team, no way the Lions pick up their blitzes. It WILL be like a win for Lions if he comes out of that game healthy. The Jets defense does damage. The Lions can't afford to lose him so hopefully they protect him well. Don't want to see him hurt again.

I don't think one hard hurt on his shoulder puts him out. It wont help, but he took some shots, although not very many, and against a weaker Redskins Defense. They only managed one sack, but he was hit a few times, and he looked alright throughout the game. Except the rust in the 1st half. I don't worry about him when I see him in the pocket. He is just so calm and relaxed. Doesn't panic easily. Obviously, I don't want to see him get hurt again, but I just have the feeling he wont. I could be wrong, but I hope i'm not.

He got hit on the shoulder once and had a hard time getting back up. Is all I'm saying is, this is one bullet to dodge and the Redskins aren't even close to the Jets. He'll get sacked at least 3-4 times. You can't ever predict injury, his shoulder just is a sensitive area right now. I don't want to see him injured, it just worries me a bit. He's still got a lot to prove.

Yeah. I know what you mean. I didn't get the see the game, so, I wasn't trying to say much. I just am saying from what I saw in videos and whatnot. I'm thinking he'll get sacked about 4 or 5 times, and hit about 7 to 10 times. I know injury is unpredictable, I just want to believe it wont happen, and just want to believe things will be different this time. Especially since they really don't have anyone after him, with Shaun Hill hurt now. They do have Stanton, but i'm not all that confident in him. I'm more than a little worried about it. I'm down right petrified.

Lol. The Lions lost and Stafford got hurt. Fail predictions by Lions fans/players.

Not necessarily failed when no one expected it to happen. It's just a good thing to see that type of mentality from him.
