ESPN.com - The Patriots have signed defensive tackle Marcus Stroud to a two-year deal, according to a league source.

Stroud was recently released by Buffalo.

He was scheduled to make $10 million in base salary over the final two years of his contract with the Bills, including $4.5 million next season.

Three league sources have told the Boston Globe's Greg A. Bedard that DE Marcus Stroud is not a lock to make the Patriots this summer.
Specifically if the Pats focus on their defensive line in the draft. If Stroud does make the team, he isn't likely to be anything more than a rotational player, and is expected to make his biggest contribution in the locker room.
