Steve Blake has suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow and is expected to be out a minimum of 6 weeks, the Los Angeles Lakers announced Thursday.
Blake suffered the injury in the second half of the Lakers' game against the Sacramento Kings on Nov. 24.
Blake is averaging 9.8 points and 7.7 assists this season.

The Los Angeles Lakers are down to zero point guards due to Steve Blake's injury and are considering their options regarding a potential signing.
Mitch Kupchak said Leandro Barbosa, Darius Morris and Chris Duhon are all "on the list" of point guards the team is considering.
"I think for the time being we're going to roll with what we've got," Kupchak said. "To find a player that doesn't belong to somebody right now that can come in and play in front of Kobe [Bryant], in front of Xavier [Henry], in front of Jodie [Meeks], it's unlikely.
"But maybe there's a player out there that we can take a look at. ... It's a good time to perhaps look at a player, but I don't think there's somebody that we're going to bring in and we're going to start or is going to play big minutes."
The Lakers plan to give elevated ball handling duties to Bryant, Henry and Meeks.
