I can't see Seabrook going anywhere, rumours are rumours.According to The Fourth Period, the Chicago Blackhawks are looking to make a major deal before the Feb. 28 trade deadline, and the charge is general manager Stan Bowman could be "quietly shopping" defenseman Brent Seabrook. TFP states that sources suggest 15 other NHL teams - "at the very least" - have some degree of interest in the blueliner.
Sure, there should be plenty of interest in Seabrook - he's one of the better, all-around blueliners in the league. But that doesn't mean the Blackhawks would be willing to part with him. By all accounts, the 25-year-old, and his chemistry with Duncan Keith, is considered an integral part of the organization - moving forward.
A major deal by the Blackhawks before the deadline is possible. But it won't involve Seabrook.
