Miami Herald - The Dolphins won their first game of the season on Sunday despite not having cornerback Vontae Davis in the lineup.

Davis was out for a "non-injury" reason following a reported altercation with teammate Brandon Marshall this past week.

He was disciplined for showing up late to practice on Saturday. The team believes he was drunk the night before and when he showed up at practice, he smelled of alcohol, according to a source.

Several members of the team had apparently been out late Friday, but Davis was the only one who was late for practice.
