Pau Gasol will sit indefinitely due to tendinitis in both knees, but sources say it is not because a trade is in the works by the Los Angeles Lakers.

But a source said that Mitch Kupchak recently spoke with Gasol's representatives that the Lakers would explore trade possibilities if he cannot adjust to Mike D'Antoni's system.

Gasol is averaging 12.6 points and 42 percent shooting, both career lows, and 8.8 rebounds per game.

Via Dave McMenamin/ESPN
They will have to make trade after trade after trade to get that roster to fit D'Antoni's system.

yeah idk what they could get for him. i really cant find a fit

only thing i can think of is a 3-team with New Orleans and Boston

but 1, why would the Hornets trade Anderson and 2, does Boston have enough to entice New Orleans?

They aren't, that was just some idiotic article by some idiot who thinks small market teams need to just be a feeder for the Lakers.

That's a win-win deal for both

Sixers still have Young to play SG, and Lavoy Allen can start at PF while Bynum's out

The Toronto Raptors are the most likely team to acquire Pau Gasol if the Los Angeles Lakers trade him, according to rival executives.

The Raptors would likely build a trade for Gasol centered around Andrea Bargnani and Jose Calderon.

According to sources, however, Bryan Colangelo has showed no willingness to dealBargnani.
