The Indians are off to a hot start, but not everyone is sold on their future this season.

"I just don't see it from a run-prevention standpoint," an American League executive said. "If I'm wrong and they go on to win 95 games, God bless 'em. But I just don't see it yet."

Cleveland leads the league in runs scored per game, but Carlos Santana and Shin-Soo Choo still haven't gotten hot yet.

I think they will cool off eventually as well.

It's tough to argue with the thought that they will cool off but gotta tip your hat to the way they've been playing lately.

I think a lot of this season will rely on Justin Masterson. If he can prove to be a very good starter (which he has been dating back to August of last year) then I think we can stay competitive because Fausto is good enough to pass as an ace for us, I'm fine with that, but we don't have a true #2. Our bullpen is really good and we seem to have a nice lineup. It comes down to starting pitching for us.

The Indians are off to a very good start. Im waiting for the Twins to make their charge once Mauer comes back though cuz thats a big addition to their team. Idk there is just something about that Indians lineup that im still not sold on. I think it will come down to how well that Cabrera duo hit for the rest of the year.

in 2008, almost nobody (myself included) thought Tampa Bay was any good, even despite being 1st in the division half way through. It wasnt really until mid-August when we realized they were actually pretty good. Those Rays went to the World Series that year.

Now, im not saying Cleveland will make the playoffs necessarily, but you can never count them out.

I knew they were good that year. That staff was ripe enough, the lineup was baller and the bullpen was solid enough although it surprised me how great they were. That AL Central is just not that good this year imo, White Sox Twins and Tigers are all worse this year. The Royals are 2nd in the central.

Wait let me say it again, the ROYALS are in 2 place in the AL Central.
