On the trade deadline day, the Washington Redskins made headlines of their own without trading a player.

The Redskins signed former NFL MVP running back Shaun Alexander to a one-year deal and punter Ryan Plackemeier. Both players will be reunited with Redskins coach Jim Zorn, whom they worked with in Seattle.
WTF for?

That's why then. But I'm sure they could have got someone better.
Meh...I do agree though.

Alexander just isn't the same type of runner Betts is, hence he can't give the Redskins what they get out of Betts.

i got a little faith in the guy. I mean, he just suffered a few years of tough injuries. He isnt the same Alexander, but i think hell do fine.
