Skins resign Fred Davis to 1 year deal

Fred Davis signs one-year deal wit Redskins, per league source.

Good player that can't stay healthy. Had 800 yards in 12 games year before last, and was on pace for about 750 last season but only played 7 games.

Agreed. This guy can't stay healthy. Give him a year and see how it plays out.

Aside from the achilles injury last year, I don't think he's ever missed any significant time due to injury in his career. He isn't injury prone. The four games he missed the year before last was a marijuana related suspension. Achilles injuries are pretty tricky though, so that's probably why he's working under a one year deal. A "Prove you're back to normal" kind of deal.
 
With RG3, I honestly think Davis could eventually be a top 2 or 3 TE in the NFL.
