Washington Post - The Redskins are looking to trade defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth before this month's draft, according to the Washington Post.

New coach Mike Shanahan has instructed general manager Bruce Allen to identify potential destinations for Haynesworth, whom the Redskins paid a $21 million bonus April 1.

Washington tried to include Haynesworth in on the Donovan McNabb trade, but Philadelphia wasn't interested.

The Detroit Lions, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans are rumored to be possible landing spots.

What do you expect the Skins to say? Yes we're looking to trade him? That won't happen.

Yeah I can see a deal happening within the week actually. I hope the Lions get him and then get Okung or someone else with the number two pick.

Beat writer Jim Wyatt confirms the Titans have interest in Albert Haynesworth "if the Redskins are willing to part ways with him as part of a bargain-basement deal."
MLive's Tom Kowalski also reports that the Lions would have interest in a similar type of deal. The Redskins, however, don't appear to have any interest in eating the bonus just paid out to Haynesworth. If owner Daniel Snyder swallows the $21M, interested teams are going to have to come strong with draft picks.
