Long snapper Nick Sundberg broke his left arm late in the first half of the Washington Redskins 40-32 win over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

After suffering the injury, Nick Sundberg snapped the ball nine more times for the Redskins in the game.

"There really wasn't another choice," he told the Washington Times.

"It was the worst thing I've ever put myself through," he told WJFK-FM, via DC Sports Bog.

Football is a crazy sport.
This happened almost a week ago, but it's the first time I've heard it. He's only a long snapper, but that's crazy either way.

Now that's the kind of toughness you want on your team. Granted, he is just out there to snap the ball, and stop defenders getting to the punter or kicker. Still takes strength to get it to them accurately, and he seemed to still manage to do a good job with it, despite that.
