NFL.com - Panthers tight end Jeremy Shockey ripped into officials after he had a 22-yard touchdown catch nullified by an offensive pass interference call.

"Maybe the official saw something (different from) what I did," Shockey said. "I'd like the league to go back and look at that and give an explanation, because it was a big play in the game. The momentum is on our side, and it comes back. That definitely hurts our team momentum-wise.

"I've been playing this game a long time and ... I don't know. I'd like to hear the explanation from the league and really understand why they would call something like that. (The official who called it) never gave me any explanation at all."

It was terrible call IMO, should have been a td and that would have changed the whole game, it definently should have been a no call if anything...

looked like the corner just lost balance

Guys calling the game said if you extend your arm like he did, then it is gonna get called. Shockey shouldn't have stuck his arm out like that, because that combined with Tillman already losing his balance made it look worse than it was.

I can see why they called it, but I agree with GMF on it should being a no-call.

smh at Rip calling me GMF lol

But of course the replay does it little justice since us fans get 4 and 5 looks at it.
