Shaw, Malone Withdraw Name For Magic Coaching Search

Brian Shaw and Mike Malone have withdrawn their names from consideration for the head coaching job of the Orlando Magic.

Shaw has been a candidate for recent openings for the Lakers and Bobcats, amongst others.

Orlando is looking for a replacement for Stan Van Gundy.

Shaw is currently an assistant coach with the Pacers, while Malone has the same position with the Warriors.

no its not. its better to start on a rebuild then it is to have a star not wanting to be there because you dont know what your team will look like. i really feel for pat. i wanna see him get a job. shit, id LOVE to see us try and go after him for our top assistant coach.
