The Blazers defeated the Suns on Thursday night, dealing a serious blow to their playoff hopes, but center Shaquille O'Neal was still joking afterward.

When asked what he thought of Oden, O'Neal told HoopsWorld: "I don't. I'm a Shogun. You can't ask me about a low level ninja. I still have to worry about Yao Ming, Dwight Howard."

It has nothing to do with his team, or a playoff spot, or the Blazers, or anyone/thing else for that matter. The question was what he thought about Oden. Shaq gave a reasonable response, the right one IMO...just with a little humor attached.

Shaq can back it up? He's averaging 18 and 8. Not great but those are around Pau Gasol numbers and for a 37 year old man those are damn good stats.

Im not gonna argue on the issue. You can call me what you want, Lakers fan, Suns fan, Grizzlies fan, Hawks fan, hell even a Celtics fan, but at the end of the day, I still could give a flying fck about what you or anyone else says

Back on topic, Shaq can say what he wants but when you're not even playing for a playoff team or winning games, it becomes all talk. He owns Oden anyday true but his team has what PHX wants, a playoff spot.
