Although Monday night was a big night for the New England Patriots, with a huge 41-7 victory over the Broncos, things went downhill on defense. Patriots safety Rodney Harrison hit the ground last night and did not walk away. The recent update is that Harrison has suffered a torn quad, a season ending, possibly career ending injury.
The possibility of a return for Harrison is possible, but still a longshot. Many NE fans are lovers of Harrison, and a surge to bring him back is expected, although the possibility of a comeback is highly unlikely due to the severity of the injury.
An expected Hall of Famer, Harrison, if not returning, will go down in history as one of the great safeties; a 2 time Super Bowl winner and 2 time pro bowler, a man who is the only in history to accumulate 30 interceptions and 30 sacks.
Over the course of his career, Harrison has achieved a total of 634 sacks, 469 solo tackles. He also has 30.5 career sacks and 34 Interceptions. - GMF
