The league announced that San Francisco...err...Santa Clara, California will play host to Super Bowl L in February of 2016. This is the second time in league history where San Fran beat MIami in a head-to-head for the rights to the game. The 49ers new stadium, Levi Stadium, will have it's doors open by then.
And with that, the NFL awarded Super Bowl LI to the city of Houston. That's 0-2 Miami and the drought continues. It's being said Miami's inability to secure funding for upgrades to Sun Life Stadium is what killed it for the city.
People of South Florida, you can thank Mr. Loria and his shitty baseball team for your crumbling facility and no hopes of getting anything new, anytime soon.
