Pro Football Talk - Having acquired a pair of cornerbacks this week, the Eagles now have three potential No. 1 options on their roster.

Incumbent starter Asante Samuel will be joined by Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, who was acquired in the Kevin Kolb trade with Arizona, and Nnamdi Asomugha, who Philadelphia signed on Friday.

Rumors are already popping up that the Eagles could trade Samuel.

You know Philly is going to ask for a 1st rounder.

Or 2 2nd Rounders.

To teams that like to build through the draft

(Especially Lions)

It isn't going to happen.

Thanks for playing.

I would take Samuel over Rodgers-Cromartie.

Just saying.

Samuel is more expensive, and already have Nnamdi on a big deal. Makes sense but I agree.

Nnamdi plus Asante = Super Bowl.

That may be the best cornerback tandem since the 90's.

Shades of Albert Lewis and Kevin Ross. Maybe even better, we'll have to see them on the field first but God damn.

Not surprised about this. A lot of people weren't thinking Nnamdi would be a Eagle, since they already had Samuel and got DRC. Now, Samuel is the expandable guy.
I'd like him but that's not happening.

I'm sorry but Samuel > Nnamdi.

Because of the stats that you posted on one site that can't be confirmed anywhere else? Samuel has been known as his career as poor in man coverage, and a gambling corner... I find it hard to believe he rated out to be the best corner last season.

I can see us get him for a 1st or two 2nd round picks.
