Sabathia has been battling for the 5th spot in the Yanks roto and I don't think he's winning. How do we feel about a guy coming about of the pen with $50M remaining on his deal?

There just isn't any possible way that happens, right? I see him getting the 4th or 5th start of the year, and if he falters the Yankees doctors are going to "see" something to shut him down.

I've put him in the pen on OOTP and put Nova in the rotation instead.

Results are promising through All Star Break, apart from the fact that CC is majorly annoyed with me but hey ho, I don't think he deserves the starter role and that's what the game is all about (making the key decisions)

Sabathia sucks and the Yanks need to do something to shed his salary!

I never understood why teams started bad players because of their contract. You're paying him either way - if there's a better option for the rotation, put Sabathia in the pen.

You are absolutely right. But why not risk it to start the year? You are indeed paying him that much, so why not start him instead of using him out of a role he's never done?

Well that's why I said if there's a better option. If there is not a better option, then you're better off starting him in the rotation for at least 4-6 weeks to see if improves at all.

I agree but I am an irrational Yankees fan and even I hate Sabathia!
