I've been having this debate on another site. I'd just like to know what all you folks think.

I'd say he's a fringe Top 10. Top 15 is more like it

See my argument has been fringe player. I think there are a lot of players with lesser statistics who have greater impacts on their team.

If that's your argument, then you are wrong pretty much.

This playoffs just proved how valuable Russy is, that OKC couldn't go anywhere without him

Reggie Jackson played pretty damn well, nonetheless. Kevin Martin went cold. Perkins and Ibaka couldn't handle ZBo and Gasol. That series said a lot more about people other than Durant and Wesbrook, IMO.

Specifically Ibaka was garbage because of no Westbrook though. He has a big impact on his teammates.

Ibaka was pretty damn bad defensively, too, though. That ain't Russ.

Chris Paul
Tony Parker
Kyrie Irving
Russell Westbrook
Kobe Bryant
James Harden
Lebron James
Kevin Durant
Marc Gasol
Tim Duncan

I'm not too big of a fan, but I'd say fringe.  You still have a Carmelo Anthony, Stephen Curry, Derrick Rose, Dwyane Wade.

I'd definitely take Rose over Westbrook.

There's no way that is your top 10.

fringe. i just cant accept his shot attempts and diva attitude. i dont care about his assists numbers because he fails the eye test when you watch him play the point guard position like a two guard.

Nola's list is exactly why Russ isn't definitively top 10, including the players not in the actual list. Might I also add Kevin Love?

Switch out Harden, Irving and Gasol for Melo, Rose and Wade.

Kobe could easily fall out of there, we have no idea how good he'll be when he returns.
Rose and Love have to prove themselves again as well.
