Royce White is prepared to consider walking away from the NBA.

White plans on meeting with Houston Rockets' general manager Daryl Morey to discuss his ongoing situation.

The Rockets will continue to fine White for every day he remains away from the team or does not attend sessions with a therapist.

White and the Rockets have been in a dispute about how they are helping him with his anxiety disorder.

Shame. I was pulling for him to overcome this. I can't say I feel sorry for him though. I understand where he's coming from as far as the anxiety, but there's really no excuse to refuse the therapy sessions. At some point you have to seek help, or accept it when it's offered to you. This type of thing won't go away on its own.

My opinion changed when I heard about how he has a issue with not being in the rotation.

I've heard nothing out of major outlets confirming that, but the whispers have reached my ears as well. I don't get it, if he really does want playing time that badly. Do I think he can ball, now? Yes. He's smart enough and skilled enough. At the same time, I admit that I think this is entirely health related and that the playing time thing is just certain people looking for a story.

Royce needs to realize that if he gets cut, he will never be the spokesperson and touching story for people with anxiety disorder that he wants to be.

He needs to realize that he needs to make sacrifices and work hard to overcome the disorder and show people that it can be dealt with, not use it as an excuse to why he can't play and can't show up to games.

Totally true. Doesn't help in his efforts to help others if he can't help himself for sure. I'm starting to feel no sympathy for a guy who doesn't at least try to make an effort.
