ESPN's Buster Olney reports that the Royals will "listen to any and all offers" for Zack Greinke this offseason. The Royals have a nice stable of prospects on the way, but Greinke will likely become a free agent before their impact is truly felt. The reigning AL Cy Young winner has two years and $27 million left on his contract. He's coming off a disappointing year, but Greinke would become easily the best available pitcher on the market other than looming free agent Cliff Lee

I'd love to see what we could get from him.

Goes to the Phillies. Halladay+Greinke - Holy <Censored>.

Hopefully goes to the Red Sox though because Greinke+Lester+Buchholz+Beckett+Lackey. Once again holy <Censored>.

Anyone can dream.

I honestly can see him in a Padres uniform...IDK how that would happen but I can see it

MLB.com has his Blue Alt, Coolbase jersey on for 163 bucks or something, and then I had a twenty percent off thing, so I was going to pick it up. Sucks though he might be traded.

Lol he's not gonna go to Philly. They're out of young assests. I don't see them working a deal with the royals unless they inclde Domonic Brown to the deal even that alone is not enough. I honestly don't see him going anywhere though.

Yeah they need Brown in the outfield. Especially with Werth most likely leaving after this season.

If you don't know. Greinke's personality is very awkward. He's very shy and not a people person. And he struggled with depression early in his career. But he overcame it and won a Cy Young and is a whole new pitcher.

But most still don't think he is a big market guy....I remember during the season the Rangers were somewhat interested in him.
I've heard the Rangers have a pretty good assets too.

I know I'm jumping the gun..but watch out...the Royals have one of the best prospect fields in baseball right now..we have like 5 people in the top 50 prospects...we do a Greinke trade..I'm saying Royals could be something

I see him failing horribly if he goes to a big market team. Because as you said he is a shy and has struggled with the depression. I think that might be enough to scare big teams away from him.

Some teams I've heard are interested....

Rangers, Reds, Braves (Because of the Royals-Braves connections),

Two big market teams that I've seen who are interested, but I see as unlikely are the Mets and Dodgers
