"At some point Thursday night, Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert's cellphone probably vibrated -- like it has after all of his playoff games -- giving the indication of a text message.
The message wouldn't be from his parents, best friend or team President Larry Bird.
It would be from the player he grew up idolizing, the one he spent significant time with during last year's lockout, picking his brain, learning what it takes to be a dominating force.
The text messages have been coming from San Antonio Spurs future Hall of Famer Tim Duncan.
Duncan's message to Hibbert on Thursday night would be full of praise after Hibbert's strong imitation of the Spurs' big man in front of a sellout crowd at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Hibbert had 19 points, a career-high 18 rebounds and five blocks in the Pacers' 94-75 victory over the Miami Heat."
