Rockets Still Interested In Pau

The Rockets still are interested in acquiring Pau Gasol and they would likely be willing to trade Kevin Martin and Luis Scola, according to sources.

But the Lakers are unlikely to move Gasol without acquiring a point guard back in return and Houston isn't interested in trading Kyle Lowry.

If I were them I wouldn't trade Lowry for him either. Sure Pau would help a lot. But he isn't going to make them a contender...neither will Lowry, but I'd rather have the young guy who will be around longer.

Trading a young up and coming PG is not worth it for a 30+ PF with no toughness. I'll pass. If Morey trades Lowry, I want Alexander to fire him immediately.

If we give you Lowry for Pau, you get the better deal hands down. Simple as that. Not gonna happen with any GM other than Daryl Morey, but I won't sleep well until the trade deadline passes and Kyle is still a Houston Rocket.

Morey traded Carl Landry when he was excelling in Adelman's system and becoming a real force. He traded him for Kevin fucking Martin. I wouldn't put anything past Daryl Morey.
