The Oakland Tribune confirms that Raiders LG Robert Gallery is slated for free agency this offseason.
The NFLPA lists Gallery as being signed through 2014, but the final four years on his deal voided. Now 30 years old, Gallery has missed 14 games over the past two seasons due to injury, causing concern that his body is breaking down. He'll be a risky, if high-upside commodity on the open market.
For his draft position, he's been a bust.. but it just feels like Oakland is getting weaker and weaker by letting Nnamdi get by, now him.

Not so much of an outrage going on here. Gallery was supposed to the greatest shiznit at LT since Orlando Pace was drafted. The guy turned out to be worse then Leonard Davis.

Yeah, but hes a decent LG.

Also its kinda a blow since Oakland doesn't have the best Oline.

heh, iono.

Gallery could be a solid signing for the lions, and hes somebody that yall should probably realistically look towards.

Lets be honest, Nnamdi or Champ isn't going to the D.

Yeah we have been giving some former first round picks second chances such a Alphonso. And yeah maybe he could help the lions line a bit. And yeah I know We probably wont be getting Nnamdi or Champ, but I can always hope lol.

Alphonso Smith was a 2nd round pick.

The Broncos gave away a first to trade up and select him in the 2nd.

I remember when Gallery was in the NFL draft and I wanted that dude so badly on the Giants. I was pissed off we drafted Eli, but in the end I started realizing it was the right choice. Im glad now we didnt select him.
