Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has decided to attend Canada's World Junior camp in Calgary beginning on Monday.
The Edmonton Oilers said via Twitter that agent Rick Valette confirmed his client's news on Saturday.

Nugent-Hopkins spent most of the last week in Edmonton to strengthen his shoulder. He was named to Canada's selection camp roster last Monday and is expected to play in the tournament should the NHL lockout continue.

The 19-year-old has eight goals and 12 assists in 19 games for the AHL Oklahoma City Barons this season.

Last year in his rookie season with the Oilers, Nugent-Hopkins had 18 goals and 34 assists in 62 games.
