Richard Hamilton has been bought out of his contract with the Pistons and will be placed on waivers.

This is not an amnesty decision, however.
I will always miss you Rip, no matter how much of a headache you became to be. You will always go down as my favorite
Piston, and I thank you for the 9 great seasons you gave us. I hope he fins a squad to help win him another ring. Lok forward to his name in the rafters one day.

However, needed to be done. Knight will now get a lot more playing time. The Prince deal seems a lot less awful. And we still have the amnesty, which means CV and Gordon are on the hot seat for next season.

Thank you for not being a complete fucking idiot for once Dumars.

One of my favorite Pistons, and he'll be missed, but as said it needed to be done. Wish the best of luck to him on his next team.

Dammit...

Bulls are closing in on Rip.

J-Rich is expected to get more than the MLE.

Crawford wants more than the MLE and would take a sign-and-trade, which the Bulls don't want to do.

VC just signed with the Mavs.

Those were my top 3... Gotta say I'm disappointed in the off-season thus far, although it isn't even 24 hours in yet. LOL

Looking like the Bulls. That'd be a great fit for him IMO.

We bought him out for 8 million, wow.

We save 11 million of his contract now.
