Miami Herald -
In hindsight, maybe Heat guard Dwyane Wade should have had season-ending surgery immediately after he dislocated his shoulder in a February loss at Houston.

Heat coach Pat Riley said Friday that he wished he had followed his instincts nine months ago, when Wade was sorting through options after the injury. Wade put off surgery and instead opted for a six-week rehabilitation process so he could return to finish the season.

Wade's decision to have the surgeries on his shoulder and knee in May has forced him to miss the start of the season. Wade was cleared last week for competition but has said he still is bothered by knee stiffness.

"He's not ready -- he's just not ready," Riley said before the game against the Suns. "I should have made him get the surgery in February."
I thought Wade should've gotten surgery then too.

I hope he makes a great recovery and that this doesnt affect him anymore when he comes back. He's too good to have a career of injuries, plus he's my second favorite plaer.
