Pat Riley confirmed that the Big Three of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh will remain with the Heat for the 11-12 NBA season.

"There was never any thought, never any discussion of moving any of those guys," he said. "I'm happy we have those three together."

Riley said he could not envision dramatically changing his approach with his roster.

"I don't think you win championships with young, athletic players that don't have experience," he said.

Good news. Doesn't make any sense to move them after what they accomplished in the first year together. Especially with trying to integrate Haslem back into the lineup in the playoffs and Miller a few months into the season.

This.

It was basically championship or bust for this team anyway you wanna slice it. They made it to the finals. The management believes that they can make some minor changes and keep this squad together to put them on top. It's not a really big shocker that Riley said this.

did anyone really think someone like Pat Riley would admit failure on his part by trading one of wade, bosh, and james?

Not that I believe any of the Big Three would be going anywhere, but Pat Riley is just saying what they want to hear right now. He's been around long enough to know what things to say to keep people happy.

Of course, gotta give it another year! They thought this was their year, I'm sure they will think the same about next year.. That is if they have a next year.... Or whenever that may be..
