yeah i just kind of added them for some variation to the flow of it or something. so the background wasn't just that i guess. lol.

the bg is nice regardless of those lines. texture is really good. the lines arent a killer or anything but i didnt like them.

i gotcha. i dont completely disagree, i understand why they look bad to some, probably to most people. once i added them it just looked better to me leaving them in as opposed to removing them. its no biggie tho. at least they didnt ruin it i guess lol.
