Richards will not be offered a contract

With the ownership situation in DAL not likely to be settled until later in summer, DAL will not be making contract offer to Brad Richards.

So excited if he leaves Dallas, and hits the market. From what I have heard it is between the Leafs and Rangers if he hits the market.

During the trade deadline .. he said that he would love to play in MTL or TOR .. but now things changed .. its between TOR and NYR .. anyway best of luck to one of my fav GM's Brian Burke !

No one's surprised. Dallas should have just traded him and got something back at the deadline.

Yup. Would of been a smart decision to trade him at the deadline. Would love to see him on our first line in Toronto though!
