Star-Ledger - Jets coach Rex Ryan flipped off Dolphins fans in Miami during an event on Saturday night.

Ryan made the obscene gesture during an MMA event, according to a report in the Miami Herald.

Sunday, Ryan apologized in a statement released by the Jets:

"It was stupid and inappropriate. I wouldn't accept that type of behavior from one of the coaches or players and it's unacceptable from me. I apologize to the Jets organization, the National Football League and NFL fans everywhere."

They definitely provoked him in some way or another to do what he did, unless they think he's just going to go in and start giving all the Dolphins fans the bird for no apparent reason, LOL. You know damn well fans will start <Censored> and all he did was let them know how he felt, oh well. This doesn't really bother me, there's much worse that goes on. I'm not saying it's cool but I don't think it should be some top headline either, lol.

Jay Glazer from Fox Sports said on WFAN radio that some guy spit on Rex Ryan, he was there when it happened. It thats the case, then I fully support what Rex Ryan did no matter what. Nobody spits in my face and gets away with it.
