The Minnesota Timberwolves turned down a trade with the Memphis Grizzlies for Rudy Gay, according to a report.

Speculation suggests the Grizzlies offered a deal that would have sent Gay to the Timberwolves in return for Kevin Love and/or Nikola Pekovic.

The Timberwolves expressed interest in signing Gay to a free agent deal in 2010.

Eh. The Wolves would have gotten better had they been able to keep either Love or Pek and get Gay, but the fact of the matter is that Rudy Gay is not worth his salary. Not even close.

At first I believed the report, then I saw Kevin Love's name, now I don't believe a word of it.

They didn't accept it because he's black, pretty simple.
