Report: 'No clear choice' for Dwight Howard

 

There is "no clear choice" for Dwight Howard in free agency, a source told Yahoo! Sports.

 
Here we go again. Cue up the circus-themed music and bust out the party poppers, because we're about to go through another round of the Dwightmare. Howard will reportedly exercise his options in free agency "in large part due to the uncertainty with the Lakers' roster," a source said, but that's somewhat obvious. Factors such as Mike D'Antoni's offense (if D'Antoni is retained) as well as his ability to coexist with Kobe Bryant will play a part, and for all of the hints Howard has dropped about re-signing with the team, he offered nothing to suggest he'll be back with the Lakers next season. Howard did say reports of his relationship with Bryant are exaggerated, but there will be plenty of questions regarding Howard and his future over the next several months. The big man also called the season "like a nightmare."

At least this time he doesn't have any current contract loyalty that he's just ignoring. This time, he can do whatever the fuck he wants. This shouldn't be another nightmare scenario. Fans have no right to bitch about whatever he chooses.
