The New York Daily News reports that the Jets will attempt to trade Mark Sanchez this offseason.

Good luck with that, Jets. As we've gone over and pounded into the heads of everyone over the past few weeks, Sanchez is owed $8.25 million in guaranteed money next year. The Jets would certainly have to eat that money in order to pull off a deal, while the other team would have to pay Sanchez roughly $3 million. New York would be extremely lucky to even get a late-round pick in exchange for the former No. 5 overall pick turned third-stringer. Cutting him seems more likely, and that would bring on a $17.1 million cap hit.

i doubt he's traded or cut. they only have themselves to blame for him not developing better anyways.
