Bob McManaman of the Arizona Republic reports linebacker Karlos Dansby, a second-round draft pick by the Cardinals in 2004, is said to be eyeing a contract that guarantees him around $30 million. Teams that have been linked to possibly having interest in him and vice versa include the Dolphins, Giants and Colts.

Wow, this would be SO amazing for the Colts. However, we won't drop that kind of money on him that he wants - I think he'll be a Dolphin next year.

if it's a non-cap year, they can make the contract front-heavy and still good for following years.. ANY team can sign ANY player using that scenario

for instance -- 10mil signing bonus for 4-year conract with bulk guaranteed up front, then give him a bunch first year. then, it's only 3mil a year after that.

I think he could possibly be a Giant as they let go of Pierce and need to build there linebacking core up again.
