#Rays make official signing of Matsui to minor-league deal

Off to Triple-A in an attempt to show Tampa he's got enough left in the tank. To get a call-up, Matsui has to literally show the Rays he's the better option than Luke Scott...which isn't easy considering Scott's .610 slugging this season. Absolutely no room for Matsui in the Outfield with a Jennings, Joyce, Upton combo already in place.
