Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones was reportedly injured on Monday morning during a brawl that took place on a party bus filled with his teammates.

According to TMZ, a fight broke out at approximately 3 a.m. ET after a stripper named "Sweet Pea" allegedly swung "a gigantic Ace of Spades bottle" at Jones. It apparently connected with the veteran wideout, and an ambulance was called for a “bleeding male,” though it did not transport anyone to a hospital.
According to Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun, Jones' agent insists the receiver is doing "fine":

This incident led to a brawl among Jones' friends, who were also on the bus and reportedly sought retaliation against Sweet Pea. Teammate Bryant McKinnie apparently tried to stop the situation from escalating, but was eventually embroiled in the skirmish himself.
Members of the Ravens organization had spent the night in Washington D.C., celebrating McKinnie's 34th birthday.

McKinnie posted a flier of the “birthday bash” event on his Instagram feed, indicating that he would be at Opera in downtown Washington on Sunday night. The fight broke out on the bus as partygoers were leaving the club.

Busted Coverage tracked down some additional photos as well, including this Instagram of Sweet Pea on the party bus.

Police were called to the scene but no arrests were made. TMZ noted that law enforcement officials apparently found evidence of an assault but could not get anyone to cooperate with the investigation.

Jones has not played since the season-opener against the Denver Broncos. He recorded three catches for 24 yards in the contest and is currently nursing a sprained MCL and is out indefinitely.
McKinnie is no stranger to partying, as the 12-year veteran was prominently involved in the “Love Boat” scandal that rocked the Minnesota Vikings back in 2005. He was also arrested back in 2008 for aggravated battery and other offenses after a street brawl outside a Miami nightclub.

Obviously, this is not what the Ravens want or need at this time. Though they are 2-1 through the first three weeks of the season, they lost plenty of big-name players during the offseason and are working to defend their Super Bowl championship.
