Even though most believe the experiment with Eddy Curry and Zach Randolph is over in New York, president and coach Isiah Thomas spent Monday trying to talk up the value of his two big men, the New York Post is reporting.
"I keep looking at our guys, and for as much talk as there has been about Eddy and Zach, they're still 25 and 26 [years old]," Thomas said. "And there's a lot of good basketball left for them to play. While we're in a bad spot, you don't want to make it worse."
Added Thomas, "They're good players. Even though we haven't played well, I know Eddy is a much better player than he's shown thus far, and Zach has played well for us."
