After failing to provide any type of firepower on the field, the Rams have decided to shake things up offensively and bench quarterback Marc Bulger.

The move comes after the Rams, who own the league's 31st ranked offense, fell to 0-3 after Sunday's 37-13 loss to Seattle. Bulger was 18/31 Sunday, with 184 yards passing, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception.

Pass protection has been a huge problem for the Rams this season, a team that has already allowed Bulger to be sacked 11 times.

Stepping in is 38-year old veteran Trent Green, who is on his second tour in St. Louis.

Green will get his first start this Sunday when the Rams meet the unbeaten Bills. -AE

Awesome cause QB is really the problem we are having. As much as I have a problem with Bulger ever since he took warners job, its not his fault. Maybe its the <Censored>ty play calling by Al Saunders or how much Al Saunders dick Linehan sucks, this coaching staff needs a overhaul. And needs to be not run by rich kids who dont know <Censored> about football. Bulgers not the problem, but he isnt the answer either so we should def start looking for a new qb maybe in the draft.

You've got a mediocre offensive line playing around Orlando Pace.

Your defense hasn't done sh*t to keep points off the boards.

This team just doesn't seem to want to play hard under Scott Linehan. Actually...this team hasn't played hard for anybody since Dick Vermeil.

False, we played hard with mike martz. Sure he was a little crazy and wasted challenges/T.O.s and had some absurd calls on Offense. But we had no D back then with martz (after the patriots Superbowl) so it was hard for us to go deep into playoffs. We never had 2-14 years or straight up <Censored>t years, i remember 6-10 being the worst, and that was a injury plagued year too.

Head Coaches typically pull a move like this when they know their head is on the chopping block.

Rightfully so considering how ownership is more and more likely to sh*t-can them with each and every loss in a season.

This is exactly why Brad Childress went with Gus Ferotte last week. Childress know that he doesn't have even 1 more year to stick with Tarvaris and go through the growing pains.

Trent will suffer another concussion... then they'll be forced to play Bulger.

It's the truth, he ought to just retire.
