After failing to provide any type of firepower on the field, the Rams have decided to shake things up offensively and bench quarterback Marc Bulger.
The move comes after the Rams, who own the league's 31st ranked offense, fell to 0-3 after Sunday's 37-13 loss to Seattle. Bulger was 18/31 Sunday, with 184 yards passing, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception.
Pass protection has been a huge problem for the Rams this season, a team that has already allowed Bulger to be sacked 11 times.
Stepping in is 38-year old veteran Trent Green, who is on his second tour in St. Louis.
Green will get his first start this Sunday when the Rams meet the unbeaten Bills. -AE
