Raiders Waive WR Mike Williams

AP - The Oakland Raiders waived struggling wide receiver Mike Williams on Tuesday, becoming the second team in six months to cut ties with the 10th pick of the 2005 draft.

Thank god, this guy sucks. He has the size, but has TERRIBLE hands. Cost us the game last week.

I agree, both Rogers and Mike Williams were such big wastes. But what are you going to do I guess. But I mean they were the best picks at the time, at least Rogers was, we really needed a WR then. I still wonder why we picked Mike Williams though. To bad neither ever proved to be what they should of been.

Indeed, who would of thought guys like Mike Furrey and Shaun McDonald would be 2 very great WR's in this league, better than Rogers and Williams. Plus Williams and Johnson, it's just a sin lol.

To be honest. I seriously thought McDonald was going to be pretty good when he got drafted by the Rams. I've been following him. But yeah, what a surpirse. And look at Willie Parker. Undrafted. Career Backup in College. Thats just amazing.
