Raiders send Seymour 5 day letter

he Raiders have reportedly sent a "five-day" letter to Richard Seymour, informing him that he's a candidate for the roster/suspended list.
The five-day letter means Oakland will not attempt to void the trade, so Seymour will either join the Raiders or sit out the season. The Raiders aren't obligated to place Seymour on the roster/suspended list, but the letter warns of the possibility. The ball is now in Seymour's court.

There was actually a report that the team has placed Seymour on the "Reserve/Left Club" list, which would permanently sideline him for all of 2009.

I have already dismissed this report as bullsh.. being that if he just received a "5-day letter", then the Raiders couldn't place him on this list until those 5 days go by.

This situation is just getting weird. With both Seymour and the Raiders mum about it...I guess only Belichick wins.
