My top 10 questions to rouse some discussion heading into the 2009 NFL season:

1. Will the Vikings live up to expectaions this year, or will they prove that last season (and their team in general) was a fluke?

2. How does Jeremy Maclin lift the Eagles to the top of the NFC (as most people I know are assuming) when he hasn't even set foot on a professional football field yet?

3. How will Peyton Manning and the Colts fare in the post Tony Dungy era?

4. Assuming that the Packers (or any team) sign Michael Vick, where will he play on the field and how effective will he be after being out of the leaague for nearly two years?

5. Will everyone sleep on the Giants like the past two years, or will they finally get the respect they've been earning?

6. How many rookie quarterbacks will start for their team's season openers, and who will they be?

7. Who are the sleeper teams in the NFL that can make a big mark this year?

8. Is this the year that the Texans surpass the .500 mark, or will they be like their NBA counterparts in the Bobcats as an expansion team that can't seem to take the next step up.

9. Will LaDainian Tomlinson's age cause him to end up like Shaun Alexander within the next two seasons, or will he bounce to his MVP season form?

10. Will the ratings of the "T.O. show" ever surpass the ratings of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" re-runs shown at 4:00 in the morning?

People aren't saying Maclin lifts them above everyone.. He helps but there are more factors, probably because they made the NFC Championship last year.

My question is how good is Matt Cassell. Is he a below average QB, an average QB, or a possible pro-bowler?
