<Censored>ing dumb assTyson Gillies, seen in a 2009 game of baseball prospects at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, hasn't played since late June because of a hamstring injury.
Tyson Gillies, a Canadian outfielder in the Philadelphia Phillies' farm system, was arrested early Friday and charged with cocaine possession.
The Philadelphia Daily News first reported the arrest, which took place at a Clearwater, Fla., hotel. Gillies was released on bond several hours later, according to the newspaper.
Gillies, 21, was obtained by Philadelphia in December in the multi-player deal that saw star pitcher Cliff Lee head to Seattle.
The Kamloops, B.C., native, who is legally deaf and wears a hearing aid, hasn't played with Double-A Reading since late June because of a hamstring injury and wasn't expected back in the lineup this season.
The Phillies said in a statement that the arrest was in connection with an incident in June and that they would not be commenting further at the current time.
