Use this thread to give praise where it's due, criticism where it's needed.

Praise for the Minnesota Vikings:
1. I'd like to give a shout out to Rick Speilman for being a draft mastermind over the past two seasons, securing three first round picks last year and two first round picks this past season. 3 out of 5 of these picks have already turned into good players with sure signs of greatness. Rhodes and Barr have been fantastic, so far, and Floyd is well on his way to being a very good DT. Brdigewater and Patterson have shown flashes, and I expect them to turn out, and not too far down the road at that.

2. Props to Mike Zimmer for turning this defense into a very solid, very competitive unit.

Criticism for the Minnesota Vikings:
1. How on god's green earth is this offensive line so goddamn bad? It makes no fucking sense, under any circumstances, in any scenario, in any dimension of thought. John Sullivan, Matt Kalil, and Phil Loadholdt have all been absolutely dominant players at certain points during their careers. How the hell have all 3 just fallen off of a fucking cliff? I know Charlie Johnson is bad. I know Vladamir Ducasse is a second stringer, but how do all 5 just get manhandled on a regular basis.

2. Why the fuck can't this team go one game without a stupid, unnecessary special teams penalty, more often that not penalties? What is so goddamn hard about not holding on a punt return? Or not committing a block in the back? Where's the difficulty here? These are black and white rules. Don't do either. Why can't this team figure that much out?

3. Fuck you, Greg Jennings. If I could cut you right this instant, I would, and if I could freeze you in a time warp where you repeatedly get drilled by Toby Gerhart in that play from the first Green Bay game last year, I would. You are a completely fucking useless diva whose career I hope is completely over unless there's an immediate change in attitude.

4. Brian Robison and Everson Griffin have no excuses to not have a few sacks, at this point. Both of them can take a flying leap if they don't have at least 6 sacks apiece by the end of the year, and one of them better approach double digits. This shit is unacceptable.

Cardinals Praise!

The team has been killed with injures and yet we still find away to win!

Cardinals criticism!

The offense isn't dominating the field yet.  They should have had a few blow outs now, but they can't seem to finish the job.

Bengals criticism

1. Marvin Lewis still can't coach
2. Mike Nugent fuckin sucks -- 64.7 FG PCT and Marvin has "full confidence" in him. Worst of any starting kicker whose kicked in all 6 games....
3. Our defense fuckin sucks
A. Can't stop the run game
B. Can't pressure the QB
C. Can't cover
D. Can't tackle
4. 13 flags
5. Our offensive line can't run block
6. We still suck on prime time and can't win a big game
7. Why in the hell is Brandon Tate still returning kicks?
8. Why the hell is Robert Geathers still on the team?
9. We tie, again. We can't win the game in 4 quarters, we can't win the game in 5 quarters and we can't make a 36 yard FG.
10. I'll stop here -- But could continue

I'll praise the defense.
1st in total defense to this point, who'd of though that.

Criticize the offense and special teams.
The o-line has been bad. Running game has been iffy. Pass game has been pedestrian.
Kick game sucks lol

The pass rush hasn't looked this good since Jim Johnson was the DC.
Shady looked better than he has all season on sunday night.
Having the best record in the league is nice even if the schedule has been pretty generous.

Nick Foles is still mediocore.
The secondary is going to get exposed when they actually start playing good teams.

Praise:

- Darius Slay has taken such a huge leap. Last season, everyone in Detroit thought he was a bust. He looked so lost. I remember a specific moment in a Lions/Vikings game last season where Adrian Peterson got into the Lions secondary and Slay just dropped to the field in front of him like he had just been shot, hoping for an ankle tackle and Peterson just jumped over him. Not any more. He's covering and he's making strong tackles, and he looks like a top 12 coverage corner in the NFL.

- DeAndre Levy. At the end of the 12/13 season, all Lions fans thought he was a bust and that it was a position that needed a replacement. In 13/14, he played pretty well and people started warming up to him. I guess the Lions knew they had a talent there because here in 14/15, he's a top 10 LB in the NFL.

- Sam Martin. 2nd year punter, think he's the best in the NFL right now.

Rip:

- Matt Stafford, he sucks. The team continues to try to give him weapons. He has no accuracy and it hinders what the team is willing to do offensively. Calvin Johnson should have caught 8 million short slants by now but he hasn't because the staff is afraid to use that route because of the risk it endures. The offense has been very vanilla so far, and it's had to be that because the staff is afraid of what they can run with Stafford.

- The offensive line. Riley Reiff doesn't look like the LT he was last season. Larry Warford doesn't look like guard he did last season when we all thought he would be a career All-Pro G. Rob Sims and Dominic Raiola have just hit father time and have become liabilities.

- The third WR. There isn't one. Really kills the packages Joe Lombardi would want to utilize. No trips going on around here.

You could argue that they've been exposed already against poor teams.

The special teams have looked good. Sproles was a really nice pick up. The defense hasn't been TERRIBLE which is something to be thankful for. I really like our receivers

Man, Nick Foles is really really bad lol. If the Eagles somehow miss the playoffs, what are the chances Chip Kelly trades shit away just to go get Mariota?

Praise: The secondary, or most of it. Rhodes/Robinson/Smith/Blanton have been fantastic.

Rip: Captain Munnerlynn can go straight to Hell.
