The Pistons have agreed to terms with guard Rodney Stuckey. Stuckey’s deal is believed to be worth $25 million over three seasons.

Stuckey, 25, averaged 15.5 points, 3 rebounds and 5.16 assists in 70 games with the Pistons last season.

a three year deal makes up for the $25Million total. its a bits more yearly than i wanted but im ok with it. now i just hope we slide him to the two and he adjusts well.

This is a whole lot better than the 45 million dollar deal that was reported.

its only a three year deal and most fans were hoping for a five year deal in that same price range so its even better, imo.

Thank GOD he didn't get a 5 year deal at that price.
I can certainly stomach a 3 year deal at that price though.

He would be making 3 mil less a year if it was 5 years, but I can understand not wanting him long term until he proves himself.

this three year deal also expires when bg and charlie do. gives us a lot of money in a few years.

I just don't understand how Frank is going to use Gordon, Knight, and Stuckey.

I really hope we don't end up starting Stuckey and Gordon.
Knight and Stuckey imo, with Gordon off the bench.

i hope they tell us how he'll be used before the actual season starts. i just dont want him stunting knights growth. if they start with knight at the one idk how good he and stuckey will be.

Yeah, scratch that. I do think Gordon is a better compliment for Knight.
I'd just have Stuckey back them both up.

LOL at the fact we still might have like a 8+ million dollar sub either way (Gordon and Stuckey).
Plus Charlie and his overpaid ass.

I can see Knight becoming very frustrated this season.

its a long way away but if we let stuckey, charlie, and ben walk in three years then we can actually build a team. lol

hes too smart of a dude to get frustrated his rookie season on a shitty team. he knows we suck. just as long as he plays hard and improves then thats all i care about from him.

I can see him getting buried on the bench this season, and he won't be happy about that. He was mad that 7 teams passed him up at the draft...

Stuckey, Watson, Gordon, all their other guards...

I can see him just not getting a whole lot of time.

I assume Watson is Bynum lol.
Knight is definitely ahead of Bynum in terms of playing time.

Frank likes Knight a lot, so I think he will get good playing time.

all our other guards? knight, stuckey, bg, bynum. bynum wont get much, and we arent sure who will be the two starters yet but knight should get enough playing time. the other dudes you may think are our "other" guards will be cut or sit on the ir.
