The Pistons were interested in Tyson Chandler, who the Bobcats dealt to the Mavericks this week.

Vince Ellis of the Detroit Free-Press reports that the Pistons actually made an offer for Chandler. The exact offer isn't known, but it's safe to assume that either Richard Hamilton or Tayshaun Prince were included.
