EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New York Giants' confidence continues to swell and Jason Pierre-Paul likes his chances of pulling off an upset in Lambeau next Sunday.

When asked how optimistic he is about the Giants beating the Green Bay Packers, the defensive end replied, "We're going to be all right."

"We gonna win ... we gonna win," Pierre-Paul later added.

Pierre-Paul is just expressing the confidence he and the Giants have after winning three consecutive must-win games with their 24-2 rout over Atlanta on Sunday in the Giants' wild-card game at MetLife Stadium.

"We know what's at stake, and we know it's one and done," Pierre-Paul said. "We aren't going to let that happen. We are going to go out there and give all our effort and we are going to walk away with a win."

The Giants lost to the Packers on Dec. 4 at home, 38-35, after Aaron Rodgers led Green Bay to a last-second, game-winning field goal. But the Giants have won four of five games since and the defense is playing much better than it did when it gave up 449 yards of total offense to Green Bay.

Initially, Pierre-Paul said he was "80-percent" sure of the Giants' chances on Sunday. He then changed it to "100-percent."

"We should (win)," Pierre-Paul said.

"We're sure," he added when asked about how sure. "I'll see you guys later."
Well I can't say I don't like the confidence. Hopefully he'll be right though.

He's just giving the Packers extra incentive to kill them, like they need that.

It's just what they are going to do. Tuck called the Falcons dirtbags and they handled them easily. Giants are playing with confidence now, especially since they played a close game with the Packers last time they played. I don't think they'll win, but nothing wrong with the confidence.

They played them extremely well last game, and not to mention the refs gave some help to the Packers.

..and you're playing them at Lambeau Field, you don't think they aren't going to get a few more going their way?

Well like Muhammad Ali said, you have to believe you're the best before you know you're the best.

Jake Ballard scored a touchdown that was ruled out of bounds, was reviewed and showed his knee was in bounds, and was still not ruled a touchdown...i doubt that happens again.

Refs are sooo biased to the home team. I think the Giants have the recipe to beat the Packers, but the home field will be huge. If it was a neutral setting I would be confident the Giants would win. Even still, I picked them > Packers in my playoff bracket.
