Phins release Holliday

After already losing 3 defensive starters this off-season, the Dolphins have released Defensive end Vonnie Holliday.

Holliday was due to make $2.8 million in base salary in 2009 and was due a $1.5 million roster bonus Tuesday. The 33-year old veteran spent 4 seasons in Miami and lead the Defensive line in tackles last season. -AE
