IMO, I think cutting off the hair right next to his beard on the right side would make the cut look better.

Oh wows. Man how do you make the hair look so good?

I do like vikes did -- cut around the big part.. then I copy& Paste the edges of the original and cut again and then merge.. i then do another layer below and unhide the original, with the new layer selected.. using pencil tool, draw lines of single hairs with a similar color (selected with eyedropper). hide the original layer, then smudge the lines to blend in.. lower opacity a bit, then merge
